Electrical enclosure inspection windows are fitted to a panel or enclosure so that meters, indicators, breakers and control components can be read without opening the protected door. They are supplied with transparent covers in several position counts, with or without a base, in IP67 versions.
The window is not a complete electrical enclosure. It is mounted over a cutout in the panel or enclosure and protects the viewing area while the panel door stays closed, which matters where opening the door during an inspection round is not desirable, or where the components behind it must remain sealed against dust and water.
Three points decide the model: the size of the area that has to be visible, the required cutout dimensions and mounting compatibility with the existing panel, and whether a base is needed to build up depth over components that sit close to the surface.
